Terms of service

1. The service

CameraCAD is a browser-based tool for designing camera coverage on floor plans, provided at cameracad.com ("the service"). The service is operated by G United SIA, registration number 40003846857, Maiznīcas iela 10 - 12, Rīga, LV-1001, Latvia ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

Saving documents requires an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for what happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher.

3. Plans and payment

The Free plan covers home projects, study and evaluation. Commercial use requires a paid plan. Paid plans are billed per seat, monthly or yearly, in advance. Prices exclude VAT and may change with 30 days' notice; a period you have already paid for keeps its price. While billing is in early access, every account receives the full toolset free of charge.

Orders are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record: Paddle is the seller for the transaction, appears on your statement and invoice, and handles VAT and sales tax. Refunds are covered by our refund policy — in short, 14 days, no reason needed.

4. Your content

Documents, floor plans, images and other material you upload stay yours. You grant us the licence needed to store, display and transmit that material to run the service, including to the people you share it with. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.

5. Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully, respect the rights of others, and keep the camera database inside the service. Accounts that attack the service or other users, or redistribute the database, may be suspended.

6. The camera database

Camera specifications are collected from manufacturers' published documents and provided for planning. Manufacturer and product names are the trademarks of their owners and appear here for identification. Verify specifications against the vendor's current documentation before purchase.

7. Your responsibility

Coverage shown by the service is a geometric model built from what you drew and the data on record. A site survey, the manufacturer's guidance and the judgement of a qualified installer remain yours to apply. You are responsible for the systems you design and install.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. Features may change. Should the service be discontinued, we will give at least 90 days' notice and a way to export your documents.

9. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct loss, and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the account page. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination your documents are deleted after 30 days.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email or in the editor at least 14 days before they take effect.
